We encourage all members to submit as often as they can. Data gives us real leverage as representatives. Whether your issue is big or small, you never know how many of your fellow pilots are having the same problems. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can find it here.
Nippon Cargo Pilots Union (NPU)
We have also reached out to our Japanese colleagues at the Nippon Cargo Pilots Union (NPU) and will meet with their executive when the roster allows. The NPA and the NPU began life together, and despite now officially operating as separate entities, we still value our close relationship with the Japanese Union.
Towards a Stronger Association
One consequence of that split, we believe, is that the NPA has struggled with a guiding framework. However, now is an opportune time to develop a formal document that defines the Nippon Cargo Pilots’ Association as the official voice of NCA’s foreign-based pilots.
Between us, we have formulated a draft constitution. Whilst simple, it clearly outlines the basic functions of the organisation and the expectations of it’s members and representatives.
Below is a link to your personal portal for viewing the draft constitution. We invite your comments and suggestions. You can also see comments from your fellow members.

This will be a truly collaborative effort, and we value the input of all members. Consultation will be open for three weeks. Once the final draft is prepared, it will be put to the membership to vote on its adoption.
If you would like to discuss anything privately with us, please feel to reach out or email us.
Thank you once again for everyone’s encouragement and engagement.
