Thank you to everyone who shared positive feedback on the "new-look" NPA and made us feel welcome. Over the coming weeks and months we’ll be rolling out further upgrades to make the NPA more visible and engagement easier.
This week
As we get our feet under the desk, we’ve been reaching out to the Company, the Chief Pilots, and members to get a better feel for the current state of play. Yesterday we held a brief introductory meeting with all three Chief Pilots, and we look forward to maintaining a close working relationship with them as your representatives.
The NPA needs you — and your feedback
This week we’re launching our new "NPA Feedback" app. It’s designed to make it easier to send us real-time information about everything from late schedule changes to substandard hotels, contract issues, and more.
Key features:
-
Use it as a webpage or install it as an app (just follow the prompts).
-
Works offline — write your report in the air, and it’ll submit automatically when you reopen the app on the ground. A red badge shows if you’ve got any reports still waiting to send.
-
Attach photos and files to your submissions.
-
Flag "Something good" when things are working well, too.
-
Submit truly anonymously if you prefer. We verify you’re a member by staff number and email, but when you choose anonymous your identity is discarded and never stored anywhere — not even in our logs. (You’re welcome to check the code yourself.)
Please bear in mind this is still very much in beta, so if you hit any issues, let us know at reps@ncapilots.org.
Access it now at https://data.ncapilots.org/feedback/
In October, the Company will be meeting with catering firms in ANC, ORD, LAX, and DFW. We would like to provide as much feedback as possible on all catering loaded at US stations — good, bad and otherwise.
Our ask: if you’re flying any US sectors, please download the NPA Feedback app and send us a quick report on each meal you eat (a photo helps too). The more data we have, the more influence we have on improving catering standards.
Anyone who’d rather not use the app is welcome to email us the old-fashioned way at reps@ncapilots.org
More next week — happy flying.
